  1. Yeah, I wouldn't contribute because I just don't feel comfortable with verbal communication. I get flustered. I don't think the same as when alone with my thoughts. And I never know when others are done talking (too many seem like they're never done, but only get interrupted eventually).

  2.  @andrealaforgia  well, you would casually throw out a whole category of capable programmers then. I don't think the world is improved by narrowing the types of people we allow to contribute.
