It should be the partition of British India. India wasn't an entity before.

@karanshenoy4527 that's just the general name for the region. There was no Central leadership, thus not a single entity. It was small states governing themselves.

@karanshenoy4527 That's not a equivalence at all. A more apt comparison would be calling the Holy Roman Empire Germany. Germany only unified as a country in the 1800s. You can call HRE Germany, just like you can't call all of South Asia India.

@karanshenoy4527 they are mixed with Hindu legends so can't be taken as factual history. Quran isn't the historical source, many dozens of even hundreds of sources from Arab, Jewish. Persian, Egyptian, Roman, Greek talk about Muhammad. Whether you believe he was a prophet is a belief. But to claim he didn't exist as a person is laughably low IQ.
