@jersefrenzer1265 there is no without. Complex numbers are a subset of geometric algebra (GA). It encompasses them and much more, and in a much more intuitive way. A complex number is essentially a bivector in GA. The difference is that bivectors can be used in any dimensional space and encode orientation, rotational sense. To prove the fundamental theorem in GA just insert the necessary bivectors/conversion factors.

Teach geometric algebra then, not complex numbers.

We have had geometric algebra for decades that eradicates the need for complex number. Complex numbers are not necessary. Why wouldn't a math prof know this?
