  8. Do not answer questions. Get a lawyer. If you are innocent then these thugs will still be trying to pin it on you because you are right there. Do not consent to searches or seizures. They may catch a real criminal but they also have a tendency to wrongly arrest people if they find anything they mistakenly think is relevant evidence.
