I remembered this one. It never materialized. This was before the draft induction.

JAMES MARSHALL HENDRIX (November 27th, 1942 - September 18th, 1970). I was seventeen years old when Jimi left us. Fortunately, I was able to catch him on "The Dick Cavett Show" on ABC-TV, long before its availability commercially on VHS and DVD. Jimi will be gone for forty-seven years this year on September 18th. Six albums were released during his lifetime: ARE YOU EXPERIENCED?, AXIS: BOLD AS LOVE, ELECTRIC LADYLAND, THE JIMI HENDRIX EXPERIENCE SMASH HITS, BAND OF GYPSYS and HISTORIC PERFORMANCES RECORDED AT THE MONTEREY INTERNATIONAL POP FESTIVAL: THE JIMI HENDRIX EXPERIENCE/OTIS REDDING. I bought all six LPs during Jimi's lifetime...I still have them, today! In near mint condition!!!

joe jones ...Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. also had a great sense of humor. I was fifteen years old, when the latter was assassinated.

@lwmson ...Hi, Joe! There were numerous photos and clips on Dr. King's humorous side. I'm sixty-nine years old, and totally aware of Medgar Evers, Malcolm X and Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.'s demise. Three of our leader's tragic losses. All three of them died violently on June 12th, 1963, February 21st, 1965 and April 4th, 1968. Just like that (finger snap)...without rhyme or reason.
