  1. Vulture capitalism is now the norm in business practices, and the default setting is to cut a business as if the whole organization is disposable! Most businesses are no longer managed for longevity, internal sustainability, and stability! I don't want that for business, and I want it less for my government!

  5.  @dorpth  I agree that deliberate obstruction of govt function is a bigger cause of dysfunction than contractor gouging. Maybe 70 - 30% ? Understaffing IRS & CFPB are two costly ways to prevent government from functioning! Tax breaks for the rich adding to our inflexible debt service costs = a criminal and deceitful nose thumbing to the rest of us!
