  1. ​ @LoriHarris-x3r  Raskin has said he doesn't want to buck anti - semitism, which was news to me because I don't keep score on religious affiliations of public servants unless they push 'em on us. I love Jamie but I selfishly want his momentum to stay in Congress (and Warren's, and Sanders'), and I worry that Raskin shouldn't risk POTUS level stress this early in his cancer remission. If Raskin shows up on a ballot by the Missouri River, I will eagerly vote for him!

No accounting for aptitudes and affinities, in my world view (I guess that's where astrology helps some people), but Chani's extreme quantity of detail makes me feel she could have dazzled me with brilliance, in some other field. I saw a dance video of a guy with a golden retriever who matched his every move in some elaborate choreography. My reaction: You could have had a search and rescue dog!

Enforce existing anti - trust laws to restore competition that will lower consumer prices. Maintain our existing military alliances: if we don't give this help, we won't get this help. If we won't give this help, we will need this help. (Russia wants Alaska back.) Also, USA played the "we're under attack" emergency card to get NATO to back our Iraq invasion, so don't say allies haven't been pitching in blood and materiel when US asked for it. Just because that war was a mistake, we don't get "backsies" on the request for resources that was answered! For a start!

I'm worried that the naturalized, those born here to migrants, and legally documented visitors will also be swept up at great taxpayer expense, with great damage to interpersonal trust (military Versus citizen will lead to neighbor Versus neighbor), and at great cost to our economy, lost tax revenues paid by the documented, and to our personal pockets. If drumpf only means to deport criminal aliens, there won't be "millions" to catch up on.

  49. Other! This week I wrote down "Ziklag" 10 times to store it to my long term memory because I immediately conflated it with "zaftig". Ziklag is a coalition of activist churches pooling vast piles of money to achieve Christian nationalist government. I get Reformation vibes, and I don't mean a general effort to make things better. I mean "The" Reformation, when Protestants broke away from Catholicism, and it was a long and bloody era. I feel certain even Christians will be micromanaged to approved tenets and congregations. Ziklag was a place David hid out with his soldier supporters between skirmishes with Saul's troops. So, their hero while he's striving for a successful coup!

  50. Think it was Prof Jimmy Kimmel explained that transgenic mice just means lab mice strains. Breeding transgenic mice is just stocking a biology lab with office supplies!
