  6. I appreciate the gentle disclaimer, and the sharing of detailed info from your personal experience. As a lifelong manual shifter, it took the Magliozzi car repair specialists to convince me to set the parking brake for a newly acquired automatic transmission to spare the park gear's pin. I usually run a gas tank down below 1/8 in very efficient 4 bangers (which I don't share!) to maximize my mileage tracking sample. I did once see a friend's frustration with having to change the in tank pump, though. I will ponder your counsel.

  7. 👍 I still chased that procedure with a ball point pen, as the loose chalk or cinnamon would float away during handling. A simple looking blackwork rendition of a historic bestiary bear was surprisingly complex when pierced paper was lifted! [Fans of traditional blackwork can note that I withdraw my recommendation of this bear motif for discontinuous depictions of hair tufts!] I made lines, referring to my pierced photocopy enlargement before discarding it. I did still have the reference book.

A fat owner's manual may omit this valuable detail on account of "we don't know your option package" I think a page or 2 could be used to detail the possibilities! I suspect a case of multiple manufacturing sites doing multiple variations on specifications within the same model design.

  13. Stiff, faint tailor's chalk is maddening! Useless! Mom gave me scraps of Gothic School Pastels when I was young. I used more up for sewing than for drawing. Only thing as nice for marking darts and buttonhole placement is scraps of pool cue chalk. For embroidery I like ballpoint pen, as chalk rubs off easily in handling. I rarely work on white fabric.

About hubby (Josh) jumping in with wife (Jen) in BFF''s (Angie's) car, pitching fit about dog hair in back seat, allowed to drive when Angie declined to kick Jen out of front seat, and indignant about needing gas when he had abruptly hijacked their travel schedule and route! Angie succeeded in getting Josh to put some gas in, then he mocked her for dog hair on her clothes when she reclaimed the wheel at his destination! Those people are empty nesters. A father of a 2 year old pulling a like stunt should have a Baby On Board sign attached to his forehead for a week to see if it penetrates! I've long said that I didn't become a sexist until I was 30 (Draft dodger in the war between the sexes, used to feel noble about it.), but by the time I reached 40 I was comfortable with my sexism!
