  14. ​ @LoriHarris-x3r  Raskin has said he doesn't want to buck anti - semitism, which was news to me because I don't keep score on religious affiliations of public servants unless they push 'em on us. I love Jamie but I selfishly want his momentum to stay in Congress (and Warren's, and Sanders'), and I worry that Raskin shouldn't risk POTUS level stress this early in his cancer remission. If Raskin shows up on a ballot by the Missouri River, I will eagerly vote for him!

I know it counts more than zero, but I don't want to believe looks are a top criterion for anyone but trump! O'Rourka is easy on my eyes! TX Paul Schroder recommends Marine Commandant General Eric Smith ( NOT GQP Sen Eric Schmitt of Missouri!), and I have no gripes with Smith. Whodat, I know, but a respectable resume whose involvement doesn't vacate an elected position appeals to me!

  16. Other! This week I wrote down "Ziklag" 10 times to store it to my long term memory because I immediately conflated it with "zaftig". Ziklag is a coalition of activist churches pooling vast piles of money to achieve Christian nationalist government. I get Reformation vibes, and I don't mean a general effort to make things better. I mean "The" Reformation, when Protestants broke away from Catholicism, and it was a long and bloody era. I feel certain even Christians will be micromanaged to approved tenets and congregations. Ziklag was a place David hid out with his soldier supporters between skirmishes with Saul's troops. So, their hero while he's striving for a successful coup!

  17. Couric digressed to Bashear in her intro to Mitch Landrieu. A family Xmas card of blinding whiteness. Not a substantial pro or con. I was irritated that it was a paragraph inserted right after promising her recommendation. Click baity, like how YT puts an ad in right when Ben Meiselas says "watch this clip", or as soon as anyone in any content is about to explain or reveal a point of interest. I, for one, missed the Denzel dis mentioned in another comment.
