  27. Born West Point Nebraska NNW of Omaha. And Chadron state college in the NW of Nebraska almost to South Dakota and Wyoming. I looked up West Point from Walz's Wikipedia page. Some other article had western Nebraska highlighted, showing where Chadron is, and Alliance was marked south of Chadron, so that may be where Walz lived by the time he was getting his Bachelor's degree.
