@UlasMT I'll give you olive oil, it's a fruit but, you have to find the real stuff now and that's virtually impossible these days. Too many are mixed, flavoured and coloured to look like olive oil. There just aren't enough trees to produce the amount of olive oil sold in this world.

People have forgotten that butter is made from pure cream, it's fabulous. It doesn't even come in plastic containers.

@ma-li3935 It's temperature isn't the point. You can cook in engine oil if that's your point. It's what it does to your body and brain.

@ma-li3935 Lard is not an oil. It's pig fat, just like bacon fat. The best for cooking.

@waedjradi Coconut and Avocado are oils yes, but tallow and ghee, like lard and butter are fats and they're fabulous. We've been using them forever.

@SOUTHEASTALLDAY Carbs are absolutely not essential. People live without carbs all over the world, including me.

What's wrong with caffeine? There's no trans fats in it.

@ma-li3935 Coconut oil is the only one for cooking if you have to eat vegan. It's not necessary for anyone to do that but if you're crazy enough to try it.

Yes, sugars are the worst things in the world. We never had it until a couple of hundred years ago. Now it's in everything on the supermarket shelves, even bread and cereals and they are sugar. It's dangerous. It's one thing to eat rice, but the western diet is now all sugar.

@SOUTHEASTALLDAY Animal products, apart from milk certainly don't have carbs. We don't need them at all. We make all the carbs we require, that's about a teaspoon full of glucose in our bloodstream at any one time of the day or night. It travels all round our body and brain. We don't need fructose, it's very damaging. I'm a carnivore and have been for over thirty two years. Vegetables contain sugar, yes, grains are sugar and you can keep them. Milk contains lactose. It's been removed from cheeses, but I don't eat cheeses anyway. It's not in pure cream either. I learned a lot about what makes people sick when I was younger from an Immunologist.

Only animal fats and natural oils are the way to go. If it's made in a factory we don't need it and too many olive oils now are mixed with factory made oils, even the experts can't tell the real thing anymore.

Absolutely.

Factory made food shouldn't be on the market at all.
