Wanna laugh... I live in Brisbane Oz.and we recently had a couple of really bad floods although they never came near my place I suddenly noticed a few weeks later that my huge mirror and my fridge door was covered in a fine mould. What a shock. No other part of the house that I could find, just those two sites and they just appeared within it seemed a few hours of one day. Even though the floods didn't come to me, the rain of course did.
