We're on the verge.
1
Stop growing the same stuff and make sure there's enough of everything instead of just the rubbish we get the most of.
1
@photobobo That's brilliant, but most is still made using coal these days.
1
@cloudpoint0 I have a horrible fear of nuclear generators. We've already suffered with a couple of disasters. Japan has (I believe) 32 of them. On such unstable land this is asking for trouble. How do you feel, knowing they're on, probably the world's worst fault-line.
1
I'm sick of the thought that I know we eat this stuff. It is constantly sprayed on our food. Millions of tons of weed killers, every year made from this toxin and it's being eaten by us and making us ill.
1
And he's totally wong. Sugar should be off the diet.
1
Our best chance for the future is to cut down on our massive population burst. We've doubled it in less than fifty years and it cannot continue. In this time China cut their population burst down by half in thirty years and made their country rich. We could all do the same thing with the world.
1
I'm sorry but I say it yet again. I have turn my volume off when the introduction comes on. The noise is terrible.
1
I can understand face make-up fading but not nipples. Who's nipples change over time, or am I being totally ignorant?
1
Eat a carnivore diet and win all round. Eat junk food and lose.
1
Sugar does, but that's the one thing she didn't remove from the diet, she just added it.
1
No deforestation. It's used for wasted foods that are no good for anything of use palm oil will not save anything. From what I understand, 80% of Indonesia is covered with palms now. This is really sad.
1
@susanc257 Then change your policy.
1
No. We didn't forget.
1
I fu&%in' hate that introduction noise, it's too loud and I have go for the volume control every time. I'll stop watching this soon. WE ARE NOT DEAF!
1
Thank you for the information. It was awakening.
1
@Sannidor I can tell you're age.
1
@exiledeve How very true. Veganism is only making the problem worse by the extra use of plastics. They refuse to use any animal products which means we're drowning in more and more plastic. We know that a good pair of boots or a good wallet would last longer made of leather and it will do the planet no harm. Wool too will do the planet no harm but there's no grass left to feed these animal, they just want rid of them.
1
@exiledeve Deforestation isn't the answer, we have to stop the processed grain products that are manufacturing the oils and junk foods loaded with sugar that are making the planet sick.
1
@andrewwilliams9312 I'm sorry but the "Worldometer" says different and it is also counting deaths.
1
@andrewwilliams9312 That's nice to know.
1
@andrewwilliams9312 I'm sorry, I may a bit thick but what does this set of figures mean and where did you get them from?
1
We need first and formost to stop the death of the insects. This is being caused by toxins sprayed all over the world and it can't do the bigger animals any good. It's poisoning the plants and the whole lot has to exagurate upwards. We've lost 40% of our insects, this includes bees.
1
I see nothing to do with the shot, just the timing and the work load.
1
@StarterVillian Then you explain it to me. Let's see how much knowledge you have on this subject. I've only been doing it for thirty years.
1
@Warrior_Resisting_Colonialism It's not being given to the cattle. Cattle can graze on billions of acres of land that people can't grow grain on. They just prefer to lock them up in boxes. The grain growers have taken all the land away from the animals. Millions of square miles, sprayed with toxins to grow seeds that make oils that are not fit for human consumption. They are causing serious illness and mental illness and we are letting them get away with it. Think about it. Back in the 60s. No one was fat, no one was having heart attacks or type 2 diabetes and everyone smoked. Still they were thin and healthy.
1
@Picci25021973 Have it your way. They eat gold and silver.
1
Good talk, keep it up, thank you.
1
Africa, Asia, Australia and America are mostly desert NOW. And it's not from the cold and it's killing the life on it.
1
@mikehinford I tend to disagree with you. I think it killed people and children with lung problems at the time no matter how minor but if they were healthy, they were not effected at all. I, for one, am seventy now and my brother smoked until we were into our fifties with no ill effects and are still in very good health. While I know I'm cherry picking here, I refer you to the great Lord Bertrand Russel who lived in London all his life and died aged 98 in 1970. Every photograph I can find of him he has a pipe in his has or mouth. While the smog certainly killed people and babies, I believe it was in mid Winter and those people more likely had colds or flu. I remember St Pauls dome was black back then, so I'm not making light of the subject, it was filthy. Now it's happening in China.
1
Yes, even some of those people who are supposedly unaware they were being photographed were looking stait into the camera. They were simply going home and were busy getting to their destination. It didn't occur to our lecturer that we don't always grin our way home. He isn't smiling at the camera during his lecture.
1
This is the serious problem with the world, they're being blackmailed into the monoculture and using the chemical companies goods and seeds. They feel for the most part trapped by Monsanto and Beyer.
1
@1John 4:6 WELL little JOHN. If you're talking about me perhaps you should learn to read.
1
@adityaoak1363 How many times have you ejected into your partner or wife. How many children you have or plan to have. How many billions and billions of live sperms are going to die in the process. Do you care?
1
@mowgli2071 NOT A CHANCE.
1
@FancyForestPerson We cannot continue to breed like rabbits. The law will stand and continue. Prostitution was the first profession and medicine the second. We need them.
1
@markarmage3776 Wow! That's some statement but who are you talking to? If you're talking to me you couldn't have got it more wrong. What are you talking about?
1
@mo.ka.9661 Back then the entire western world were either Catholic or the other. They knew no better. Everyone thought God wiped their bums.
1
@mo.ka.9661 What are they?
1
@michellemcdermott2026 It doesn't belong to a church or anyone else either. So mind your own business.
1
Look out!
1
Especially our health. The more vegetables you're eating the more fossil fuels are being consumed by the population. And that soil is being washed into the rivers and seas along with the toxins.
1
@appledjerry Before millions of acres of land in Australia was covered with wheat and sugar it was grazed on. I'd much rather see grass on the land than see it being pointed with toxins that dumped on the soil now. It can't last this way. Wales is nothing like Australia. Anyway, are you trying to say there's no place for sheep in the world?
1
@mrsronaldortizjr You have to be a vegan if you've been sucked into that utter bull. It's actually 3% and you can find that out from genuine sources. So just saying won't get you anywhere. If you turned the entire world vegan, we would contribute far more to global warming than the animals do. Stupid as it sounds, you can't get rid of it. Don't tell me you don't fart.
1
@mrsronaldortizjr Corn is made mostly to turn into sugar. Well done. Until twenty years ago or so soy wasn't even on the market in the west. Now it's the cheapest crap you can find. it's used for everything. It's put into every food you can think of and only because it's so cheap. I even found it in meat products, medicines, coffee and a mixture of anything that comes in a packet. All because it's cheap crap. Now you can't get away from either of them. Proud of it are you? Corn is everywhere since the Japanese found a way to make it sweeter and cheaper than sugar. So now it's being grown all over the world. The trouble is. These damn rotten things use millions of gallons more water than animals ever did. But round farmers think it's great because they're being paid by the government, yes, they're being subsidised to grow this crap. The animals are suffering for it. They're sick too.
1
@mrsronaldortizjr If you were really interested in truth you would listen to Allan Savory and his life on TED. It's a bit of a shock when he decided to kill of forty thousand elephants because he thought it was best for the land.
1
60% of the food eaten daily is utter crap and feeds no one. It's no good for anyone. You put a slice of meat into a lump of bread and call it a meal. The only part of that meal is the meat. The average man wouldn't eat a whole animal of beef in a year. How much bread would he eat?
1
I can't see this happening in places like the USA and Australia where vehicles have to travel thousands of miles in a day sometimes.
1
It isn't enough. China used to buy millions of tons of plastic but they closed the doors. Now what? We need to use plastic as road-fill. It's tough, it can be used as bricks, it can be used instead of concrete floors. Huge things that we use other things for. It can't get back into the sea if you put it into huge building materials.
1
OH YES, the fossil fuel fuel industry will be right in there with the next industry and it will be no better than the currant one. Just like the tobacco industry, jumped into the sugar industry this is what the oil industry will do. Pour money into the land all over the world and grow sugar everywhere it can. Corn, sugar cane and beet. They will turn all that land into fuel. It'll be no better than we have now. If Brazil can run their cars on sugar 🤪Which they do. (Ethanol) So can other countries.
