Where do you get the idea, for a doctor that sugar is not the problem???? Sugar was never a part of the human diet until this past century. Remember, it came from the slave trade. We've been eating since the beginning of time so why oh WHY have we suddenly developed such a massive amount of type 2 and obesity? You're the one with all the answers? The brain requires a massive amount of glucose, about four ml in our bloodstream at any one time and the liver makes it so why do we get type 2 from fat? Not to mention Alzheimer's and heart disease. It's all sugar. We never had such a mess fifty years ago. People weren't fat fifty years ago, and if you're as old as you say you are, you would know this. Take a listen to Dr. Jason Fung, a Canadien Nephrologist. I should think he's written enough books on the subject, he's given enough lectures on it as well online all over over the world.

@JohnSmith-qw9pp Absolutely not. We should be on a about fifteen percent protein and high fat diet. Babies are born ketogenic and doctors should be well aware of this, regardless of the amount of lactose in the milk. Fat contains an enormous amount of nutrient. We are people not flowers. I don't specifically point out sugar, what I do say is the human body can't tell one sugar from another once you swallow it. It just has to cope with the quantity. Glucose is glucose regardless of where it comes from.

@SOZO_xo Take a look at ; "LCDU" Dr. Georia Ede. Dr. Zoe Harcombe. Dr. Aseem Malhotra. These people have a few things to say on the matter of diet and mental and physical health. Dr. Ede is a psychiatrist. Dr. Malhotra is a cardiaologist and and Dr. Harcombe is a nutricianal specialist.

Well if you've been practicing medicine for so long, why are you hiding behind the psudenim JOHN SMITH?

@JohnSmith-qw9pp You choose the fast high rancid fats. Yes I'm well aware of those. Of corse they are. Butter however will last for ages, as will any natural fat. You would never have thought about those, it's out of your league. We're made of it. As for the Inuit, they do die younger I'm well aware of that too. You never thought of the conditions they live in compared to other Canadians? OH. I thought not. Many die as babies. OH SHIT. I've lost my time with you too. How about the nice fit Blood drinking, milk drinking Maasai? I suppose you think they're a figment of my imagination. They're losing they're health now only because their young are moving to the cities and eating the crap that the westerners are eating, exactly the same thing the Inuit are doing, KFC and all the other fast food crap. You can go back to your books all day long and read up if you like but vegans never existed until the sixties and if you didn't know it before, you know it now. People were not sick then. People were not keelong over from type 2 and heart failure the way they are now. Please explain that. They are meat all the time.

@JohnSmith-qw9pp Of course you didn't bother looking up any of the doctors on LCHF. That would really be too much pride. You're so stuck on your ways. I have nothing against vegetables. I do however have an enormous lot against seeds and seed oils. They're disgusting things that should never have been let loose on the world.

@iss8504 Bloody childish I think, they are the entire planet the way they're thinking. They do far more harm to the planet than any animal ever could or for that matter any carnivore. They are bloody disgusting. I know all too well the way vegans think. Trouble is they should be thinking like they did in the old days the same way Indians do, to worship animals that look after the earth and to take care of them. The way they think the animals will die off and so will the planet. That is not the way things are going to be working out for the better. You can't win with plastic shoes and nylon clothes. The soil is disappearing into the sea so fast now because the world is trying to live on grains and sugar. It can't be done. That's why we're all getting fat and sick. We've doubled in size in just fifty years since vegans have been around preaching their wonderful way of life. 😅😗🙄We can only get worse or put the animals back on the land where they belong. Veganism has just taken over where smoking left off, it's just another fad and it's going to kill a lot of people before they wake up to the damage it does. I don't know what side of the fence you're on but I'm letting you know what side I'm on. I've been around for a long time and I've seen the beginning of this bloody mess and I've watched it grow. It's killing people.

@iss8504 Perhaps you can tell me where the Buddhists got there B12 from. It was only discovered in 1948. I believe that Buddhists use animal fats, milk and butters. If they didn't I can't imagines where they managed to get their B12 from. It cannot be found in vegan food as it can now because it's manufactured for the use of them since the 1960s.

@iss8504 Sugar is carbohydrate and carbohydrates are sugars. All sugars break down eventually to fructose or glucose. Fructose, dangerous to the liver is fifty percent sugar and nearly all the sugar in fruit. Glucose is mostly in everything else, potatoes, flour, rice, all root vegetables, there's still some in fruit. In bread and pasta of course and the other fifty percent of the sugar. You can't get away from it, you can only severely curve it which is very hard to do on a vegan diet.

@iss8504 Continue feeding the bees while the weedkillers are killing them by the billion because there are no animals to service the land anymore. This is a fact.

@iss8504 Coprophagic animals like apes, including ghorillas, rabbits and probably even cows manage to get their b12 from eating their mates or the earth's shit. Most people prefer to eat meat, eggs, or milk products. Factory made oils are downright dangerous but people are so far too stupid to realize this so far. They have only been around in abundance for about fifty years and that's about as long as people have been killing themselves on them and sugar. Mixing them together is an exploding experience like donuts, adding flour to the bin is a bloody disaster.
