People keep telling us that red meat is no good but we're made of the stuff, are we no good?

Fruit only ripens a few weeks a year. If you eat naturally, you would only eat it in the autumn. It's designed to fatten you up for winter when there's little else to eat.

@MrTimcurtis Oh, I'm so sick of our poor cow being demonized when all that junk food like cereals in the supermarket gets a smile and pass.

@MrTimcurtis Cows have four stomachs to digest all that beautiful green grass and turn it into meat and fat for us to eat. They regurgitate it for hours, this is how they can make meat out of grass. We only have one stomach, just like a dog or a lion, or even a wolf. A digestive system of a carnivore in fact. It doesn't mean we can't eat vegetables but it does mean we can't live naturally without animals.

@juneelle370 That's like saying a real vegan has to only eat raw too. Crap. Don't talk rubbish. We as humans learned to make fires a long time ago, and it wasn't just to keep us warm.

@MrTimcurtis If you can tell me of any fruit that grows all year round, I'll pay you a thousand dollars. All trees that grow fruit, have to first, grow leaves, flowers and then the flowers have to die off. When to the fruit grow and ripen? They grow only for about six or eight weeks a year, I don't care where you live. You can't chase fruit trees and vines all over the planet.
