It was the enormous amount of sugar in the drinks, it's as bad as alcohol and does just as much damage.

@grimsdespise6774 Sugar does the same thing that alcohol does. It's killing thousands of people a day all over the world.
7
souless☆ That's right, care to watch the watch it again and count the amount of sugar he was consuming. About ten or twelve teaspoons of sugar per can. His condition wasn't perfect before he started.

It never ceases to amaze me how many time I say "I'm going to put this in the dishwasher" when I mean the "microwave" and vice-versa, but I don't actually do it. It looks like I'm half way there.
5
It was the incredible amount of sugar he downed. Sugar is as bad as alcohol.
4
souless☆ The pancrase is there to fight the sugar. That's it's jon. The human body only needs four grams in the blood at any one time. That's a teaspoon full.
2
If you want something badly enough, you will get there.

Wow, what a shock. All from a lousy ulser which is completely curable these days.
1
I don't care what it looks like but if you need it as a medicine it shouldn't taste like a sweet.
1
Yet again, I've never heard of cheese in a can. I'm glad I don't live in the US.
1
This is fun and very informative. Thanks a lot. I'm not the sort of person who would drink anything stronger than coffee but love listening to you.
1
Not at all surprised. Liver damage mostly.
1
@mjb405 Medicines are a waste of time. It's high time people found that out. They're poisons. There's usually a damn good reason for things like this going horribly wrong and they finally found it.
1
It's all down to diet, not sleep. We've had those time changes for a long time but the killer is the supermarket junk food.
1
souless☆ He said it was over a pound. I'm surprised he's still alive.
1
I don't think they ever explain there''s about twelve teaspoons of sugar in a can of drink though, do they? Multiply that by twelve. 144 teaspoons and you see why he landed on his back in hospital with his organs melting.
1
She was lucky to be on keto. It's the only reason they found the tumor.
1
Coffee isn't bad for you. It's the intollerable amount of sugar in those drinks that nearly killed him. The sugar and glucose works out to about twelve teaspoons per can. He was already pre-diabetic, which means he had already overdone the sugar thing. No a couple of cups of coffee is more likely good for you than bad.
1
Back to the usual problem. Type 2 diabetes. This is the whole problem, get the junk food off the shelves of the supermarkets and people won't get the sugar, the diabetes, the liver problems and the heart problems. They're all down to sugar.
1
So this is what happens if you don't brush your teeth? Wow.
1
It's the sugar that nearly killed him
1
People are too stupid to realize that sugar is the lethal dose. Wake up. There's ten to fifteen teaspoons of sugar in every can of that stuff. Type 2 is one thing. Sugar rots your teeth, that's just the beginning, then it rots your toes and they fall off. NO, I'm Not Joking. Gangrene is what happens before your legs are cut off. Learn what sugar does to people. It's why people are so fat and have become so sick in the past forty years.
1
Are you blind, dear or dart? It was his pancreas that was so badly damaged and it was damaged because it couldn't cope with the sugar. The blood only needs about a teaspoon full at any one time time and he drank a full pound. Look at the size of him. He's already pre-diabetic from sugar. He's lucky it didn't kill him. The pancreas is there to put sugar into the cells to work them, but the're was already too much sugar in them so what happened? It started eating it'self. SUGAR IS THE KILLER. Coffee would have made his heart go fast but sugar is the thing that's making the whole population of the world fat and sick now.
1
You finnished on the caffiene note and most of your listeners forgot all about the 150 teaspoonfuls of sugar on top the pre-diabetes this guy had. Both of which would easily have had a lot to do with the melt-down of his pancreas. Yes, the racing heart would have been caused by caffeine or sugar (more likely both) but you can't blame caffeine alone, or forget about the sugar. It's the most dangerous stuff in the market.
1
You can get used to that much caffeine but already pre-diabetic and that much sugar, he's lucky to still be alive.
1
Sugar makes the human body flabby and fatty. Eat good meat and vegetables and your body knows what to do with it.
1
I really find the close-ups of mouths and noses rather disgusting. It really isn't nice looking at men and their dirty faces with blackheads all over them. It's unnecessary and unpeasant.
1
Kancurr' If you expect me to spend half the day looking for your smiling face to reply to you, you're crazy. If future. Press the reply button and do the right thing so I can reply to you.
1
It's a wonder she diddn't explode. What a disgusting idea for a competition. 🥵🤬
1
It seems she was lucky to try the keto diet after all. Without it the symptoms wouldn't have shown up and the tumor might have killed her later.
1
Cancer feeds on glucose. Remember this if you want to avoid getting it.
1
I wonder if he knew he was pre-diabetic? He certainly should have.
1
What sort of crap do people put in drinks and let kids play with in the USA? It's beginning to sound like poison alley listening to you.
1
She spent several days in hospital the first time and wasnn't tested for Wisons disease then? Why not?
1
Being pre-diabetic already, I think that's what nearly killed him. The sugar, not the caffien. I can drink coffee all day without a problem as many people do but there are about ten or twelve teaspoons of sugar in one of those cans. Multiply that by what he drank and he's really lucky.
1
If he had pre diabetes before, he's lucky that amount of sugar didn't kill him. Too many people here have assumed it was the caffeine that nearly killed him and have shoved off the sugar and glucose in the can altether which is what the pancreas is there to fight.
1
I'm glad I don't live in the US. Your medical system is utterly disgusting. I live in Australia without any insurance and would be attended to in minutes.
1
Good thinking.
1
I'd like to know that one as well. It's disgusting stuff. The amount of sugar in it causes small children to wind up in hospital to have all their teeth removed more often than you would believe.
