You can't turn into an Olympian when on those disgusing pills. They more frequently make you so sick you can't exercise anyway, expecially when you're gaining a pount a week. No one can race that much off.

I've just been put back on another weight gain pill, at seventy-one would you expect me to work out all the time to get the weight off? I never got all the weight off from the last pill that that made me fat. That was thirty years ago.

I remember my very strict diet and doctor that told me a blatant lie when I told her my Epilim what making me gain weight. I gained fifty one kg in a year and that was more than double my original weight. Worse still, it cost me my gall bladder and when I was finally taken off them I still couldn't lose the weight. No doctor was helping me, they all thought I just ate too much without even thinking about asking me. It was more than twenty five years before my thyroid was tested. Yes, all that damage from one lousy pill. It happened when I was forty and now I'm seventy-one and will never get back to my original weight.

Topiramate lasts six months at the most, then the whole lot goes back on again. I know, it happened to me. A real waste of time and money.

Well, I'm on hypothyroid meds. Should I see my doctor about an increase in the dose? Would it help to lose my medication weight gain. My meds are making me eat more.

@Anonymous_Anon882 Thanks for the information but I doubt it will work for me. I'm in Australia and I doubt I could blackmail a doctor into giving me that. Much as I would like to, I'm gaining weight.

@Anonymous_Anon882 OH I missunderstood what topiramate is. I have taken it, and it worked about twenty years ago but only for six months. Then my weight went right back up again. I think it was I had no gallbladder.
