@lenny108 Capitalism is killing off the animals and the land. The toxins, the weedkillers etc. are turning the land into a dust bowl and sending the dust and the poisons into the oceans. You wonder why the Great Barrier Reef is dyeing?

While the world's appetite for sugar is increasing we are getting sicker and sicker.

@villiersman951 There's not a lot wrong with trees as long as they're grown around grazing land. Trouble is, we've forgotten the animals. They look after the land.

The sooner there's a tax, a heavy tax on that rotten stuff the better. It's in everything on the supermarket shelves and it's toxic. It's the most poisonous stuff in our food. We don't want it. Go back to growing and feeding sheep.

The animals and the land is being killed off, the modern world is destroying the planet and for what? We used to run sheep.

Sell it to other countries or use it for something other than human consumption. It's poison.

@maxhallman1036 I don't, how do you convince people it's in everything in a packet, a can, or even in bread? Not to mention a bottle. That bloody stuff is a worse poison than tobacco but you can't get it off the market because every manufacturer of food products uses it.

@maxhallman1036 Sugar is sugar. It might enter the body a little slower if it goes in perhaps as a slice of bread with butter on it, however it will still become sugar in your gut. You cannot argue that point. Actually we require only 4mg of glucose in our system at any one time which is a teaspoon full. This our own body will make if we don't eat it.

Sooner or later the bottom will drop out of it. You can't expect people to buy those junk drinks forever. Sugar kills.

Because they can't grown it there.
