I lost an awful lot of weight when I turned carnivore, I will never take a drug. I lost the weight sitting on my behind at my desk.

If you eat fat, fat keeps you full and you don't need to eat much at all. FAT doesn't make you fat. The yo-yo effect doesn't occur.

@RommyAli I meant I will never take a drug to lose weight. I've never given up coffee and drink it with pure cream. That's my one weakness. I will of course take a drug for medical reasons if necessary.

The worst thing you can do about your weight is medicate. Any medication is dangerous and will seriously effect you in some way. If you use medication to keep your weight down, you'll have to do it for you life. It will cause serious side-effects, all medication do.

I can't help wondering if people with a weight problem that doesn't change with a good diet might have a thyroid problem. I had a thyroid problem for twenty years before a doctor checked. They just assumed I was overeating.

Better off going keto or better still, just eating animal products. Meat and fish cooking in animal fats. Fat never made anyone fat and it's the fastest way to lose weight.

@PSA78 And how many animals do you see counting calories? The only fat animals you will ever see are fed human junk.

@PSA78 I'm sorry if you considered me rude but you spent more time complaining about fat and cholesterol being so very bad. WHY? Too many people and doctors think that, and this is why people are fat. People are living on more junk food that contains no cholesterol.

@PSA78 ALL junk food is made with oils, (SEED OILS) and they contain no cholesterol. It's sugar that causes the ills of modern times. Sugar and seed oils. Cholesterol has been in our diet since the beginning of time but only since the fifties has it suddenly become a demon, since oils and sugar has been in our diet. We never died from cholesterol. We never died from heart attack a hundred years ago and we never suffered from type 2 either. Think about that. Our illnesses have only got this bad since supermarkets and drug companies have dictated our behaviour.

@PSA78 Yet the argument is, everyone is too high on LDL. Where are we getting it? Only vegans have no cholesterol in their diet.

@PSA78 Think back a hundred years before anyone ever thought of veganism or supermarkets. Everyone ate meat and fish every day and no one had heart attacks. Why? There were no statins.

@PSA78 No one died from lack of meat and fish. We were limited of vegetable matter but not meat and fish or we simply wouldn't be here. When people died young, it was not from lack of food, it was other problems that the medical profession couldn't compensate for. There were plenty of people that lived to pretty old age, they didn't all die from flue of horrible diseases. The plague was earlier than a hundred years ago. So we didn't get a lot of tropical fruits, big deal. The Inuit didn't get any vegetables at all, and when they died young, it was probably from falls or freezing to death. Heart attacks most certainly are new. They've become so common now because of the intolerable amount of sugar in the diet. Don't tell me it isn't a follow on from type 2. It is.
