Be careful, B12 can last in your liver for years but eventually it will run out and when it does it will destroy your brain. I'm not vegan and I eat a lot of meat but I just had to have 6 B12 shots. It can happen to anyone and everyone. My doctor was shocked it happened to me. Check it out on here if you're not taking it.

@Ganpignanus Enjoy your vegan lifestyle but don't blame meat for people dropping dead around you. They also eat crap and drink alcahol as well, remember that. If they just ate meat and vegetables they'd live as long as vegans, maybe longer but you're looking at the entire population not the careful ones. You should remember there are fat vegans around as well and plenty of them because they can't keep there hands off the cakes and chocolate.

Why don't you go back before furtilization. It's still alive. The egg is still alive and the sperm is still alive. Should I say the three hundred million sperm are alive but only one makes it to it's destination. Sad isn't it? Shame about the rest, they all wind up dead.

Cosmos by Carl Sagan is a bit old as Professor Dawkins stated but it's anything but out of date. The entire video series is amazing, if you can still get it. Nine discs if I remember correctly.

DLH Well Sir, or Madam, whichever the case may be, you seem to know an awful lot about someone you know don't know at all. 1. I''m allergic to almost all vegetable matter so, even if I wanted to be vegan it's out of the Question. 2. I'm also allergic to all artificial colours, flavours and all preservatives so I don't buy anything that comes in a packet whick leaves my diet extreamely limited. 3. I'm 67 years old and very healthy thank you. Because I don't eat all that crap, my diet comes right from fresh food. 4. My daughter is vegan so I do have some idead of what I'm talking about.

@tomgoff7887 Once again, Your point. I eat liver and salmon every week and hit me hard by surprise when my doctor told I needed six shots. Many people dont believe in eating fortified junk food like cereals so that's out. Of course there are the pills from the chemist but even that may not be enough for many people. There's a program on here about a few people defiecient in B12 I watched a few months ago which really hit me hard. It's called " Diagnosing and Treating Vitamin B12 Deficiency" Wow it really is enlightening. A part of it is about a Doctor Dave Carr who had no idea he was deficient, He finished up in a nappie, deaf and blind. It's worth a look.

@tomgoff7887 I'm well aware of the human requirements of B12, I dont need to know your nations requirement's. Is that clear enough? There are more than 200 other nations on this planet and we all have human bodies that require B12, what makes your nation's requirement's so special?

Would you like to discuss somthing worth talking about; the weather in Australia for instance, the ridiculous amount of land wasted on cerial grains that could be used to feed real grass to animals like it used to be. @todaytraining5671 Livers and kidneys are wonderful filters. Ever heard of Salicylates? They're in ALL vegetables, some not too bad, I'm sussposed to be able to eat ripe pear for instance if it's peeled. Have you ever tried to peel a ripe pear? It just runs through your fingers. Not worth the troble. Many of the weakest vegetables I'm told I should be able to eat by the ( Experts) in the field I simply cannot. Salicylates is just one of the natural chemicals in vegetables, nuts, seeds, grain, herbs and spices. Also presevatives, colours and flavours that I can't eat. It seem one thing I can eat in abundance in "of all bloody things is sugar" and I absolutely refuse to do that. It leaves me with very little to eat. Would you like to change places with me..????

@todaytraining5671 B12 comes from animals. It's made in the gut flora of the animals and you're too scared to admit it. It's wasn't even discoved unil 1948. Check it out if you don't believe.

There's a lot more than just a couple of billion animals farting that's causing the problem and what are you going to do with them if we all go vegan? Kill them off? You can't let them walk the planet farting all over the place breeding. Chickens will soon take over the world, they'll be everywhere and cats'll have a field day. Then what? More cars, trucks, planes, forst fires, volcanoes exploding every year. House fires, oil fires grass fires. You can't blame the poor cow for all of it. You have to cut the population down if anything is going to work full time. People have to stop have fifteen kids. While I'm aware that China forced their people to have a one child policy, no-one can say it was a bad idea. It's really got them out of the shit. They've gone from rags to cars in 30 years. The rest of the world could learn from that.
