  4. He was talking about the 1860s but you're right, he certainly did overdo it a bit. He talks about it like it's arsehole of the world. I was born in the London hospital and lived in Bethnal Green between 1952/65 until my dad dragged us off to Oz. I actually loved living there, but I wouldn't go back now.

  8. My dad dragged us out of Bethnal Green in 1965 to Australia, he saw what was going to happen to the place. It was nice back then. We lived in Old Ford Road.
