They recon the soy consumption has gone up tenforld and vegans are saying it's down to animal feed, but veganism has gone up tenfold as well. So who's eating it? Soy, is now in everything in the supermarket and in our medicines. We can't get away from that stuff, it's so cheap, it's everywhere.

Those people in Japan that live to a hundred grow their own vegies, never spray them with toxins or weed killers and also eat a lot of sea vegies that don't grow in other parts of the planet.

@aienbalosaienbalos4186 Spend 3kg food and get 1kg of much more dense meat. Then you only need to eat one third of the meat. Simple, isn't it. I'm a carnivore and only eat one meal a day. Could you live on one meal a day? NO! Because you graze like a cow.

The trouble with the Keto diet is the fact money can't be made from it so, it's never going to be advertised on the TV. This is the only way people will ever learn about it. KEEP IT UP PEOPLE!

It's not your strait teeth you need to bother about. Your brain is made of animal fats and cholesterol and you'll get none from a vegetable.

The one thing you'll find when you cook with any animal fat is it's much easier to clean up than seed oils. Enjoy.

If I saw a pack like the one you showed near the end of the program with chinese writing all over it. I certainly wouldn't buy it. How could you tell what was in it. I'm from Australia and have never seen a pack like that here.

@BrisaRuiva Well if you're a vegetarian now, I believe you. But if you're a vegan, now way are you only eating real food, unless you're living with a chemist. You didn't say which you are now. If you went vegan, I personally think you're nuts. If you went vegetarian, then I fully respect your position. Vegetarians have respect for animals, vegans, (if they get their way) will kill off the planet and all the animals on it.

I'm sorry, but I don't believe there are any children in the world that don't get any "eggs, meat, seafood, or dairy" If this were true, they would all be dead. They would be missing out on far too many nutrients to survive, including B12:face-blue-wide-eyes::eyes-purple-crying:

Did he need to? Why should he have to mention that people consumed less calories in the 1800s? We eat far more now but they're down to cakes and donuts etc. A complete waste of time. Children can guzzle 200c in five minutes on coke alone.

@nygeek6471 I don't argue with that, turn 200mls of water into coke and it's got ten teaspoons of sugar in it. that's a lot of calories.

Are you aware that nitrates and nitrites come from vegetable matter? Perhaps it's the massive amount of vegetables and fruit we should be cutting out. We've been smoking meat for thousands of years before the days of refrigeration. Perhaps this is yet more scaremongering.

Oh, I love bacon, I eat it with liver, they make a delicious pair with onions. And chicken is pretty tasteless unless you wrap a slice of bacon around it. It's darned tasty.

@Jah_LEASE_yah I can' chopped off a little butter and a lot of cream into my coffee- had the likes of salmon for dinner or steak or sausages and lost 25 kg in six months. It was well woth it and you do easily get used to coffee like that. Try it again. By the way, I wouldn't add as much butter as is shown on the program---- THAT Would make anyone sick right up. Start very light indeed.

@Lauren-vd4qe I don't think there's any reason to be so be rude as to teach a person English in front of the world. We're not all perfect and most people use spelling correctors or something to keep us from making mistaking mistakes.

@denide8921 I'm so sorry to hear this. Perhaps if you keep up studying from doctors on line and listening to lectures on the subject and other things about carbohydrates, grains and sugars etc. you may learn somethings that could help you. I know there are things that helped me when I was ill. It was a different subject though. I wish you the best of luck.

So, if you get less sleep you have shrunken balls and your ugly. So, if you sleep for nine or ten hours a day, you'll have a pretty face and big balls? 🤗👍 Being a woman and I don't work, I sleep when the hell I want to, four or five hours a night and later in the day. I'm happy that way.

Certainly the China Study praised the vegetarian diet but never mentioned how thin, short, or weak they are in the East.
