It never occurred to me that wheat was addictive but I see it now, when you walk past a bakery and smell that freshly baked bread, even now it's almost irresistible. Sugar is easier to resist, you can't smell it.

This is something they learn in colledge. I got conned by students and lost two perfectly good teeth because of it. Then they tried to pull two more, that's when I woke up and realized what they were up to.

Don't forget to visit you doctor when you get run down from lack of B12 and K etc. Vegan is totally un-natural. It will catch up on you one day. Good luck.

@harveyfreeman1712 If this were in the US the police would all be dead.
4
@SmogenParadise Good on ya. So did I. Anyone who is alergic to any of that garbage knows better than to touch anything that comes in a pack.
3
The only problem with cutting wheat from the diet in the USA is, too many other things can take its place, like rice, corn and all the grains that are grown. They're all as bad, if you're going to eat with sugar. Sugar is in everything, including bread. You can't get away from it.
2
I haven't eaten wheat in over thirty years, I'm delighted to say I totally agree, wheat is dangerous.
2
I think the thing that bugs me the most is 50% of the food that's made, purchased or grown is thrown away. That's a lot of food while there are still people starving. Most of this food is grain.
2
Not likely.
2
There are only a few vitamins and minerals you really need and a good drug store will supply them. Don't go anywhere else.
2
Cereals should be made illegal. They just turn into sugar as soon as you put them into your mouth.
2
The only way to take fish oil is to buy oily fish, and eat it.
2
You can taste the sugar in that stuff. Even most peanut butters have sugar in them.
1
@Michelle-pn9xt I made a factual statement. If you don't like it, tough. I'm well aware of the fact that you can buy peanut butter without sugar, and you can buy it without anything in it except peanuts and peanut oil but it's not easy to find. It comes in GLASS JARS if it's any good at all. At least it does where I live in Australia. I'm also well aware of what Nutella is made from. There's no need to be sarcastic. We can both be that way.
1
@litzypinto6760 Question is, what's on the label. If it has more than a couple of items in the ingredients and one of them is sugar, it's probably not worth buying.
1
@litzypinto6760 Good on you. That's the very best thing for you.
1
I've been keto for more than twenty years now, in that time I've had two potatoes and one loaf of bread. It wasn't worth it.
1
I bet they have help to cause accidents. This isn't funny at all.
1
Bread has added sugar, and fibre has never saved anyone from constipation yet. Fibre just goes in the top hole and out of the one at the other end. It does nothing useful at all.
1
You only require one teaspoon of glucose in your body at one time and your liver can make that. You don't need any fructose.
1
I make sure I know what's working. I buy something and find out from my doctor if it's in my body. Has my D3 improved? Yes. My hairdresser suggested I buy "Hair Skin and Nails" from my Chemist as my hair was falling out badly. Within a month my hair stopped falling out and my nails were growing beautifully for the first time in months. If you can see advantages then it works. By your vitamins from a chemist.
1
We don't have to listen to movie stars when the experts are on our side. Wheat is bad news.
1
There are still doctors in this day and age actually defending this crap. I don't understand their motives.
1
What a lot of crap.
1
I have the same water leakage problem with my "SHARP" fridge but it's fifteen years old. It is a common problem.
1
While all out wonderful companies are getting their parts made in China it's not surprising that they fall apart in no time.
1
Two hundred dollars buys a fixed water filter in your home and it works great. Never buy another plastic bottle.
1
Keep up the good work Doc. You're doing the right thing and you know it. Cheers. :hand-pink-waving::face-blue-smiling:

750mg sodium=two teaspoons salt. How could that be? Who'd consume that swill?
1
Far too much money is made from the industry doesn't want to lose customers. Cakes, cookies, bread, crackers, biscuits, pasta, you name it, a lot of money is in it. It's like if people stop buying this stuff industry will go broke.😅😀😈😈😈 Even the chemical companies will kick up a fuss, they'll lose out if we stop growing this stuff.
1
Listen to these guys talking about saving us from type 2 and heart disease. If we can get rid of the grains we can lose all the weight and we'll be much better off. This stuff is really dangerous. People just don't see it.
1
Yes, very true.
1
I couldn't believe my eyes when I looked at the list of ingredients on that cereal. I'm from Australia and we don't have that here, (I'm gland do say) but I don't suppose it's any worse than most. The only thing I will say about it is, the only good ingredient was Baking soda.
1
You know what I don't understand. People suddenly think meat is a sin. The best, healthiest food ever and suddenly no one ever mentions it.
1
I live in Oz. We eat real food here.
1
Art Arti Vitamin D2 is not as good as D3 and you can't get D3 from vegetable sources.
1
I'd tell Lyons if they want to keep the car there for years they can do it but God help them if they try to sell it.
1
Whatever you buy don't buy Chinese. They've ripped us off enough. All these companies buy their parts from China now. We're in their pocket.
1
I eat meat, fish, and eggs. I feel brilliant and I'm seventy-one.
1
Blackmail. I'm glad I don't live there.
1
So does the rest of the world.
1
I wouldn't count on God.
1
Canadians are paying through the nose for junk. It's laughable. They may as well be buying sweets. That stuff wouldn't get passed in Australia. 😅🤣💨
1
What I find laughable is these (so called) scientists have just as many opponents of wheat in the medical profession and nutritional specialists are building faster and faster. Wheat is bad news, We were never meant to live on that stuff, and in the past fifty years, that's precisely what's been happening. Wheat and sugar.
1
@familyrabinovsky2875 Well, that's because you're talking about cocaine. If you're addicted to something. Cigarettes, for instance, you don't have to be attracted to the smell of it. You can however be attracted to the smell of something you like and really be addicted to something like freshly baked bread or donuts but try being attracted to the smell of a chocolate bar.
1
Oh, I like that restaurant. Can I visit. Feed the wheat to the pigs and I'll eat the ham and bacon. The main problem with wheat is if you don't have a gluten problem it's the junk that's added to all the wheat products on the shelves. All breads etc. have sugar added so you will gain weight no matter what you try to avoid.
1
Phyllis Tanaka is bought and paid for. How much is she getting to sit on the side of Pepsi-co, Kraft, and GM. Of course she's going to be their lap-dog. Money, money, money.
1
Kellogg's nutri-grain bars? Sugar sugar sugar. Kellogg's bullsh*t. They just can't help it.
1
That's the to go. 👍
1
Listen to this forty-year old saying "I eat wheat, why am I healthy?" I wonder if he'll say that in another fifteen years. He's just a big kid now.
1
I've taken a long look. It's called sugar wrapped up in a package named wheat and it couldn't taste apatising on it's own in a million years. You're being fed this fattening crap day in and day out and now, it's being turned into doors and kitchen benches etc. which is all it's good for. Fine liet it be furniture but keep it off your plate. You wouldn't eat a pizza base on it's own or a bowl of pasta on it's own or even a slice of bread without something on it would you? It's totally unpalatable as it requires something to wash it down with. It's just a belly filler. That's all it is. Just eat good food.
1
We were never born to eat wheat day after day every day of the year. It's understandable that people get wheat belly regardless of whether is harmless or not.
