  1. Our "big bang" could be just one of millions or billions of black holes coming and going. We don't know what's on the other side of a black hole. We could be sucked into one and spat out into another universe.

  2. Of course the universe extends far beyond the observable universe. We're still seeing massive galaxies right out there.
