  3. I've read that the Alcubierre warp drive would have the inside causally disconnected from the outside. Do you know if this new warp drive solution have the same feature at subliminal speeds?

  4. It wouldn't increase from the point of view of the spaceship and those on board. From an observer at rest the mass of the fuel would increase, but the mass of the spaceship the fuel needs to accelerate would also increase by the same factor.

  5. I think it depends on the energy consumed. It's a whole new realm of potential propulsion possibilities, perhaps!
