  1. Dick Cheney's gun was supposed to be areal gun loaded with real ammo. That's how you hunt. A deer isn't going to go down because someone pulled a prop gun and yells, "Bang," no matter how appreciative the deer might be of theater. Dick Cheney's buddy knew it was a real gun with real ammo and got in the way of the gun during the hunt.

  3.  @philt161  You seem to be ignoring that there's a difference between pointing a gun at someone and someone getting in the way of a gun. You also seem to be confused as to why Baldwin might be charged; that it isn't just pointing a gun, but not checking a gun, and then carelessly handling a gun. Are you ignoring these differences or are you confused?

  4. It looks like his finger's on the trigger in the clip at 6:06. If he cocked the hammer while his finger was on the trigger later, I think that gun will go off.
