  4. The pay gap is largely a myth, but one factor in the part that exists is that women who take maternity leave fall behind in advancement compared to the men who don't take paternity leave. Until then they're pretty much tied. Now the trans-allies might try to redefine "pregnancy" (don't laugh, some of them want to redefine what a period is) so that transwomen get pregnancy leave too. If so, expect the pattern to largely continue.
