  1. I can see logic in requiring masks on airplanes, because people are packed more tightly together there than in most indoor venues, and for hours. But that isn't a legal justification to continue an emergency provision for what is no longer an emergency. In any case, the mask mandate was very rough on some people with breathing problems; my mom couldn't have made a six hour flight from California where she lives to new England where I live with a mask on, just from difficulties breathing.
