  1. There isn't a country on Earth that has open borders, and there's a reason for that. Just like we can't be the world's policeman, we can't be the world's housing project or welfare officer either. I imagine some people have racist reasons for wanting immigration controlled, but that doesn't invalidate the reasonable, um, reasons. If someone was bleeding and wanted a bandage to keep the blood fairies from getting in, a bandage is still a good idea.
