  19. Appropos of nothing, I keep thinking Roland Martin looks a lot like Dom DeLuise. Not making fun of him there, it just looks striking to me. Actually appropos of something, he's a closed-minded jerk so invested in his own hatred that he'll do any mental gymnastics needed to avoid facing why people are doing what they're doing, even at risk of a lot of scorn and even their safety. I don't agree with the woke, but I can at least understand the motive of wanting to distance oneself from past sins and to see nobody left behind. I just prize individual liberty and equal treatment more.

  39. I think Covid is real. I'll take a vaccine when it becomes available. But I think the general lockdown is excessive compared to protecting the most vulnerable, and that we'll be in recurring lockdowns until a vaccine is available and widely adopted because this virus isn't going away any time soon, as suggested by Europe's second wave.

  40. The general healthcare outcomes of the UK and US are mostly not that different. In the U.S., you run out of money, and in the U.K. you run out of time, but at the end of the day there's not enough for everybody and it gets rationed one way or another. Government-run healthcare is more efficient, but then you can be denied healthcare for wrongthink on social media. As far as the View goes, they'd probably blame Trump for a rainy day.
