  1. Russia's line has been "Look what you made me do." As much as I am a non-interventionist who would like to reduce the USA's role in NATO, I think we're all better with Finland and Sweden in NATO. But maybe we could offer Russia a deal: withdraw from all of Ukraine and Finland and Sweden's membership can be tabled.
