They actually already invented this way back when people would take shopping carts with them then ditch them when they got to thier homes , they technically weren't stealing the carts , just using them instead of carrying bags , especially the groceries which would contain heavy items like gallons of milk etc , this is how it was in the ghetto when you couldn't afford a car and or worry about waiting for the bus.

  2. A pneumatic press that comes down and crushes a shoplifter would be a welcoming and pretty deserving sight.
