  2. Another problem is that you are unlikeky to see some day a regional train between Cincinnati, Ohio and Louisville, Kentucky that are distant of 100 miles only. That's a cost of autonomous states.

  3. The true problem is that American people want public transportation to be a profitable business. Usually it's not. Most mass transit systems in Europe are subsidied because the sale of tickets does not cover the operating costs.

  4. Mass transit systems are not built by civil servants. The building industry would be delighted to have more light rail, subways and streetcars to build.
