@xxking_of_dublinxx3185 Are You talking about the Americans who arrived more than two years after everybody and started their campaign with a healthy walk in the dunes of North Africa as the Germans were already defeated by the British and the French ?

When Blitzkrieg began in 1940, the French were far more prepared to war than in 1938. The problems are that they didn't use their tanks and planes in a proper way, they had limited means of communication and they did not believe until it was too late that the Germans would attack through the Ardennes.

You forget that things had changed in the meantime as Germany had signed a treaty with USSR. The French and the British couldn't afford making war on USSR too.

@stephenodell9688 I'm afraid it was not. The Soviet Union made public in 1990 what are known as the Secret Protocols. It has been thirty years since we know that the Molotov-Ribbentrop Pact was actually a treaty of political, military and economic alliance between the Soviet Union and Nazi Germany. It has been thirty years since this lie was exposed, but the left continues to speak of a non-aggression pact.
