I live in a small town of 6.000 people 8 miles South of Paris. It has a railway station of its own that is served every 15 minutes. The next town with its 35.000 people is served by another line with trains from every 2 to 10 minutes.

@Clery75019 Yes it's dense. Whether I leave my town from the North, South, East, or West, I will always come across another town, then another one, and another one, for hours, unless I take the highway. Unlikely Europeans, Americans have space to waste. As a consequence they are under-equipped in terms of infrastructure of any kind, except when it comes to building large roads to take packs of consumers to shopping malls that will close after twenty years. Our cities are better designed in some ways.

@rgboss1337 I wonder why they will put busses in small towns and villages that are of no use to take the kids to the kindergarten or school, go to work or do the shopping.
