Comments by "thierrydesu" (@thierrydesu) on "Why was the German Army so Effective in World War 2?" video.
It's very simple to explain: from 1940 to 1942, the Germans had British troops in front of them only. It was not that difficult to frighten them and make them run. The game became harder from 1943 on when the Americans joined the game.

@youraveragescotsman7119 At first I was meaning to say everything changed after the French army of Africa started kicking the ass of the Germans but I expected a wave of furious comments so I prefered saying that the Americans won the war. :)

@youraveragescotsman7119 It was not the French Army of North Africa that fought at Bir Hakeim, it was the Free French Forces. The French Army of North Africa entered war later on (end 1942, when it initiated the campaign of Tunisia). It took a while before both forces merged.

The International Monetary Fund has it that the euro is undervalued by 18% for Germany and overvalued by 7% for France. We are the ones who fund your 'prosperity'.

They got all the equipment that the British army left behind in a desperate effort to run faster to the sea.

Germany was broke in 1939. That's why they attacked their neighbours. No socialist economy has ever succeeded.
