You´re allowed to teach about religion as a general subject (meaning the specifics of "this and that" in regards to specific religions)... You´re not allowed to have teachings by religious ppl, advocating for their specific religion... As soon as you, in public schools, starts the "my religion is better/the only true one, it´s disallowed... This is as it should be since there´s that pesky "separation" thingy and why would we want religious indoctrination... (Keep religion in the church and your home but don´t try to bring me down with you, please; "Writer´s comment")
