  1.  @paulrevere47  Oh, yes, communism IS "more authoritarian than socialism", it´s inherent... Socialism is "more authoritarian than" social democracy... The problem starts when going from the other way: Nazism is "more authoritarian than" Fascism... Fascism is more authoritarian than conservatism... Conservatism is more authoritarian than democracy... You see, the extremes are so far apart that they meet on a "wheel" of politics, extreme right and extreme left "meet in the middle"... Problem is, the GOP is moving steadily towards the right... As is the Dems... So to conservatism, the democrats will always be "the far left", no matter that, in general, their politics are to the right of Reagan...
