How did you determine that? What data supports your lie?
11
Hertz is known for unethical business practices.
10
@Yandel21ableify I don’t know. Become IT techs to repair automated trucks?
8
Lock her up too.

@taradevine6026 Don’t tell me that I’m not sincere. These are sincere and legitimate questions. I do see both good and bad things happen in the world. And I can point to natural causes for all of them. What I can’t point to, and apparently neither can you, is any demonstration of any gods. Even if some people accept and believe in some other supernatural entity, that doesn’t make their claims any more true. And let’s be honest...you didn’t do research. What you did was confirm your own bias, or so it seems. Otherwise, your argument is that some other people believe differently than you...and some bad things happen. Therefore a god exists. It doesn’t follow. I’m sincerely asking for sake of conversation.

I recommend laying off the red koolaid.
6
Humans can be awesome. No magic required.
5
Automation in the industry suggests that won’t last.
5
We don’t need religion and that isn’t banned.
5
I mean...if this is a message from some all powerful god, I’m seriously underwhelmed.
5
@taradevine6026 So now, you’ve just thrown in a conspiracy theory on top of your god claims. Semi-agnostic? Maybe you know what that word even means. But to re-word your argument....you see bad things happen....so god exists? Is seeing bad things happening evidence that any god exists?
5
@GolfnMoreclips Faith means reaching a conclusion without supporting evidence. And appearance of design doesn’t necessarily mean design. You’d still have to demonstrate a designer. The intelligent design argument isn’t a demonstration of a designer. But I don’t think it’s up to either of us to guess why she believes. Only she can convey that.
5
Another criminal in Trump’s circle. Trump’s administration had more indictments than all other administrations put together.
4
@penitenttangent7346 OK, Thanos.
4
@taradevine6026 That is true. I tend not to accept claims as true when those claims cannot be demonstrated to be true. Lots of people believe things that aren’t true.
4
Yeah, that will help a lot.
4
Sorry to be blunt, but what good is a magic blessing to those who lost their lives now? People dying tragically is all part of the plan?
3
Since Trump effectively stole the 2016 election, do we have standing for a civil case against him?
3
@rleslie66 He lost his life, and she is being charged. Suggesting he wasn’t a victim means you don’t really have a grasp on reality.
3
My heart breaks.
3
Prove it.
3
@darlind6463 Nice time table. How many people died while he was sleeping in? Muslims and Hindus will make claims about their gods, by the way. Not a good example of any gods existing, or caring.
3
@LPAFilm Blaming the dems means you need to go back for your GED.
3
@FleurPillager Data shows prevention measures aren’t up for debate.
2
@Ryan Brown False. Why lie?
2
@Ryan Brown Cite your sources. CDC data says otherwise. You’re lying.
2
@Ryan Brown Herd immunity is achieved most effectively through vaccinations. Children under twelve don’t have the option of being vaccinated. The next best thing we can do is distancing and masks. Your position that we just have everyone get sick is unethical and immoral.
2
They aren’t the first. They won’t be the last.
2
Sober up.
2
@keltecdan I’m interested in the truth. I want to hold as many true beliefs as possible, and as few false beliefs as possible. I don’t want to accept this as “God’s word” unless it is true. My question is about how you know whether or not it’s true. If there isn’t good reason to accept it as true.....then I shouldn’t... Should I?
2
@Lepus J Also, I know better what good is than you do, if you worship a god that drowns babies and toddlers, and a god that makes slavery permissible by law. But I’m more interested in truth than your subjective opinion of what is good. Believing things without warrant isn’t good.
2
@Lepus J Please, be specific. What is it you’re claiming is right in front of my face? I can’t specifically say what good reason I need, but just telling me so,etching is in front of my face isn’t going to be convincing. So, far...it seems you may be convinced....but without any good reason to actually be convinced.
2
@Lepus J So, what you’re saying is that you don’t have any good reason to hold the beliefs you do, but you feel good attacking me with baseless assertions? You can’t justify your claims, and you’re somehow equipped to know better than I do what I really believe? I hope you take the time to consider how absurd each and every one of your claims are.
2
@Lepus J And still, you offer no evidence to support any of your claims. Which means you must know I am not wrong.
2
Blaming the victim.
2
@toms7947 Not according to law.
2
@taradevine6026 We’re you always a believer too? Or did you become convinced? What convinced you?
2
@kdr2013 Yes, I have read the Bible myself multiple times. Not only that, but I have attended Seminary. I understand you’re convinced, and you believe. I simply don’t think that the Bible warrants belief. The Bible itself is not an authority in any way. It’s really just a book of claims. Claims that would need to be substantiated, and can’t be. So when it comes to supernatural claims, those are the least credible and require better evidence. And there simply isn’t evidence to support the claims. Consider whether or not we know who the authors of the gospels are. The fact is, we don’t.
2
@kdr2013 I’m glad your marriage has improved. It sounds like the work you were putting into it is helping. If the Holy Spirit exists, and has decided not to reveal itself to me, there is nothing else I can do. Same for any gods that may exist. There are people in other religions, that also pray to other gods, and feel their prayers were answered. And the numbers for COVID spiked immediately after the national day of prayer. You’re convinced prayers are answered, but scientifically we know prayers work at about the same rate as chance.
2
@alanmckay7040 34 felony accounts. You can read the indictment. Campaign finance violation and fraud.
2
Lock him up. Throw away the key.
2
Stop blaming the victim.
2
Criminals run the White House.
2
@nix4644 You know he did.
2
@LPAFilm You can proclaim your incredulity any way you choose.
2
@LPAFilm You seem confused. And ad hominem attacks don’t say much for your epistemology.
2
@LPAFilm you don’t even understand what ad hominem means? You might as well give up before you hurt yourself.
2
We rely on science, not magic.
2
Back to the future….Jaws.
