@FleurPillager Data shows prevention measures aren’t up for debate.

@Ryan Brown False. Why lie?
2
@Ryan Brown Cite your sources. CDC data says otherwise. You’re lying.
2
@Ryan Brown Herd immunity is achieved most effectively through vaccinations. Children under twelve don’t have the option of being vaccinated. The next best thing we can do is distancing and masks. Your position that we just have everyone get sick is unethical and immoral.
2
@Ryan Brown Since 2004, flu-related deaths in children reported to CDC during regular flu seasons have ranged from 37 to 199 deaths, per the CDC. Stop lying. Also, Covid is a year round thing. And apparently, you think it’s just OK to let them get sick, spread the virus, and die. Is that your position? It sounds like that is your position.
1
@dturnup300 Accidents aren’t contagious.
1
@Ryan Brown Is your solution during a pandemic to reject all safety measures, allow the spread of the virus, and just let people die?
1
@Ryan Brown It was a question. Can you answer it honestly?
1
@Ryan Brown So your answer is to reject all safety measures like,distancing and masks, and just spread the virus, letting people die. Yes, this is what you’re saying.
1
@FleurPillager You can access the CDC as well as anyone else. Should we assume you’ve never bothered to look,,since you’re asking for someone to spoon feed you?
1
@FleurPillager Per the CDC…. To maximize protection from the Delta variant and prevent possibly spreading it to others, get vaccinated as soon as you can and wear a mask indoors in public if you are in an area of substantial or high transmission.
1
@FleurPillager I didn’t claim children were at high risk, so I don’t need to provide anything that suggests they are at high risk. They are at risk of infection, and being infected leads to spreading the infections to others. However, your position that children can’t be infected or spread the virus is untrue. And your solution to simply disregard all safety measures and spread the virus to as many people as possible is unethical and immoral. This is what the CDC says about children: Children can be infected with the virus that causes COVID-19 and can get sick with COVID-19. Most children with COVID-19 have mild symptoms or they may have no symptoms at all (“asymptomatic”). You’ve been lying front the get go. You have confirmation bias based on incredulity.
1
@FleurPillager Where is your study that spreading the virus is a good idea?
1
@FleurPillager Are you suggesting that your GED gives you better insight than the CDC?
1
@Ryan Brown It’s what you’re advocating for. Clearly.
1
@Ryan Brown In other words, you don’t have any understanding of science, and think you know better… And you are advocating against best measures based on your own incredulity.
1
@loggedout8572 So you’re pro virus?
1
@Ryan Brown Why do you need to qualify your question as respiratory virus? We have done well against Polio. And even if the virus isn’t going away any time soon, all the more reason to practice distancing, wearing masks, and getting vaccinated. You’re going to live your life with complete disregard for well being and suffering. Which of course is,unethical and immoral. Shame, shame. It’s a shame you don’t understand science.
1
@Ryan Brown It’s clear you don’t care about others. You didn’t need to admit it. The goal is t strictly to make it “go away”. The goal,is to reduce suffering and death. And if it isn’t going away, all the more reason to continue to implement best practices like distancing, wearing masks, and getting boosters. Unless, you don’t care about others. And you’ve already told is in no uncertain terms exactly where you stand. Shame, shame. It’s a shame you don’t understand science, or ethics.

@SeaJay_Oceans And what of the more than half a million people that died from the virus in 2020? Your bias is based on incredulity. The intention of distancing isn’t torture, it’s safety. There a millions upon millions of people that don’t commit suicide. Your claim that the numbers are “off the charts” suggests that you don’t know the data, or even care. You seem to just want to perpetuate your bias. Is social distancing difficult? Sure. Is it better than just spreading a disease and increasing the likelihood of variants? The data shows it is.

Indoctrinating kids with misinformation is immoral.

They’re acting like children, for sure.

@Vitamin Eee What about demonstrably good ideas?
