America was not founded on Christianity. Judeo-Christian isn’t even a valid term. Judaism doesn’t agree with Christianity. America’s First Amendment guarantees religious freedom. Christianity opposes religious freedom. See the First Commandment. As soon as someone claims to be a Christian in a political discussion, they lose all credibility.

@jasonh5547 Christianity utilizes the First Commandment. That is why. Colonists may have practiced some form of Christianity, however anything mentioning Christianity or Christian God was scrubbed from founding documents. We have early draft revisions which show this to be the case.

@jasonh5547 Have you ever noticed that the First Amendment guarantees religious freedom, where as the First Commandment opposes religious freedom? The makes Christianity fundamentally opposed to American freedoms and American values.

@jasonh5547 Drop the Judeo. Judaism doesn’t believe in your Christ. Of course, my OP said America was not founded on Christianity, as the guy in the video claimed. Even if the majority held similar beliefs. It doesn’t matter if society was majority secular. It matters whether America was founded as Secular. And it was.
