  6.  @enriqueiii9209  That has no bearing on whether or not a god exists. Lots of people recover from medical conditions, usually through medical science. You admit to needing/having surgery. My other comment went missing, so I will try again; when people various religions with different gods make similar claims about recovering from any condition, does that make their gods real?

  7.  @enriqueiii9209  That is fallacious reasoning. Lots of people have medical issues and recover. Often times, using medical science. God gives people blood clots causing them to die, too…right? If a Muslim, Mormon, Pagan, or Hindu ever recovered from a condition, did their gods heal them? It’s the same argument. Now, as for my existence…in case you failed biology, my parents had sex. As for my mom, her parents had sex. That is why we exist. It’s common knowledge how that works, and there is evidence for it.

  9.  @16driver16  I’m with you there. I don’t see any reason to take the book seriously about such claims. I’m just making an internal critique based on what the book says. And if we’re picking and choosing, why choose any of it?
