@CoolNala An ad populum fallacy occurs when we use an “argumentum ad populum”, meaning that we make an appeal to what most people think, like, or believe, instead of justifying our position with evidence or even reason. Should I assume the concept fallacious arguments is too sophisticated to understand?

Did he forget to teach innocent until proven guilty in a court of law?

False dichotomy.

@zacharywinfield601 I haven’t lost yet. Sorry you can’t keep up. The only argument here goes against the rule of law. I stand by the rule of law and the Constitution. It’s a shame you don’t.
6
@CoolNala So your argument is the less sophisticated the argument the more likely it is true? I have kids, and my kids don’t get into trouble, and have never gotten into trouble with the law. Yet, I also believe in due process, and the rule of law. Is the problem that you had to look up was a false dichotomy is?

@CoolPersonThing1 No I’m not, and no…I don’t think I will. If you can’t engage in an intellectual discussion, I recommend you move along.
4
@billsloan You don’t believe in due process? Or is it that you don’t understand it?
3
@billsloan Yeah, that’s the point.
2
@re-re9404 No, the law doesn’t lock, you up,when you discipline your children. They may lock you up if you abuse them. There is a difference, and it’s a shame you don’t understand this.

No true Scotsman.

@choconethotcoco4717 That’s a very active imagination you have. Making conclusions based on no evidence whatsoever. This is exactly why we have due process. Thanks for making my point for me. 👍
2
@luigigamer5671 It doesn’t matter. Due process is due process.
1
@re-re9404 It’s really not that difficult.
1
@neogeo8267 They’re using fallacious arguments. You may agree with fallacious reasoning, but we have due process for a reason.
1
@neogeo8267 Yes, I’d agree he very likely made the threats. We still have due process, and the person responsible for upholding the law is flagrantly disregarding it. This will likely just cost tax payers more in the end and not serve the purpose he hopes it will.

@dixen9116 Wow, strong argument. With an argument like that, you might as well just admit I’m right. 👍
1
@dixen9116 Is your entire world view based on a complete lack of evidence? Lol I promise, I’ve held my job longer than you’ve held yours, if you even have one. I suspect projection on your part though. And, I make way more money than you ever will, but that isn’t relevant to the argument. So really? Is that your best fallacious argument? You can’t even start to address the actual point? Good job. Let us know if you ever earn that GED.
