  9.  @777-LOGOS  Actually, you have it backwards. I you came home one day and your house was floating 50 feet over the ground, you’d be convinced it was floating over the ground. Could you choose to believe that it is floating today? If I witnessed Jesus resurrecting, barring the use of narcotics, etc, I’d become convinced. However, I do choose to use reliable methods to form my beliefs and not simply accept things based on unsubstantiated claims. Why is my request so difficult though? If a God exists, and wants me to know it exists…and this God communicates with you…. Why won’t you simply ask God what would convince me? Because then….I’d be convinced, and I would believe it exists. So why not ask?

They’d say the same thing as you. I just believe it because I believe it. Not for good reason. I disagree that youre facing reality though. You’re more like simply chasing confirmation bias. You can’t demonstrate it is true. Your God can’t show up. But don’t feel bad, nobody’s God actually shows up.
