  4.  @universalpatriot4481  Intelligent design is creationism, and it doesn’t even compare to what we understand about the universe through science. Atheist doesn’t require faith. Faith is the excuse people use when they don’t have evidence. Think about this…regarding faith. Faith can be applied to any belief, regardless of whether or not the belief is true. This makes faith a problem when trying to reason. Faith will bolster your confidence in a belief, even when it is false. Hindus, Mormons, and Muslims all depend on faith. Atheists, not so much. It doesn’t take faith to reject claims that can’t be demonstrated to be true.

  6.  @universalpatriot4481  It seems you don’t understand what atheism is. Nothing I science demonstrates any god exists. You’re just depending upon confirmation bias. What we have evidence for in science are the following, in order… Quantum fields, physics, chemistry, biology, physical brains, then consciousness. You’re beliefs out consciousness before all of these, and you do so with zero empirical evidence. My model is in alignment with scientific evidence, which happens to be our more reliable method to measure reality. I’d ask you to demonstrate any god exists, but we both know you can’t. This isn’t about stubbornness. If you could demonstrate a god, I’d change my mind.
