Ever heard of the “no true Scotsman” fallacy? Don’t confuse “Christian” with good or moral.
11
The Catholic Church has millions of dollars set aside for funding legal defense of these criminals.

@crispinfornoff206 You don’t have data to support that claim.
7
@crispinfornoff206 No…Not specifically for that. And schools systems don’t relocate them to find fresh victims.
6
@crispinfornoff206 Although studies and information on clergy sexual abuse are limited, available statistics state that its global prevalence rate is around 18 percent for girls and 7.6 percent for boys. For students, 9.7% of females and 2.5% of males.

@crispinfornoff206 You’re the one who still believes in magic.
4
No True Scotsman fallacy. Don’t confused “Christian” with good, decent, or moral.
4
@crispinfornoff206 That is an absolute lie. Some of us are just pointing out the hypocrisy and dishonesty of those who have been ignoring the problem when it comes to the church and then make up lies that it happens on school more often…which is untrue. Either way, it is wrong. But I also don’t voluntarily participate in religious organizations who actively defend predators.
3
@crispinfornoff206 You sound like a Trump supporter.
3
@crispinfornoff206 So,why are you here defending the church and it’s abuse, when the rest of use recognize it can happen in either place, but happen significantly more in churches?
3
@crispinfornoff206 The study you cited doesn’t make the conclusion you’re claiming it does. Sorry.
3
@crispinfornoff206 And why are you defending child abuse in the church?
3
@crispinfornoff206 Have you ever heard Tim Minchin’s Pope song? You should take a couple minutes to listen.
2
@crispinfornoff206 I’ve already posted data in an earlier post. So, you just keep being wrong and keep using fallacious arguments. Cope harder.
2
@crispinfornoff206 I look at the source you provided. The study you provided didn’t come to the conclusion you claim it did. Why is that?
2
@crispinfornoff206 I know what the no true Scotsman fallacy is. You don’t, apparently.
2
@Cherrylipgloss2025 Is that why the Bible literally places a higher value on men than women? Is that why Male slaves (Hebrew) would be released after six years, but women were owned for life? Your comments still falls into the no true Scotsman fallacy.
1
@crispinfornoff206 I’m sorry you continue to use fallacious arguments, and have no reliable methods to discern whether or not something is indeed a fact. So,sorry you haven’t learned that real magic is fake, and fake magic is real.
1
@crispinfornoff206 Do churches make claims of moral authority? Do schools?
1
This is hate speech. Please stop.

Religion truly poisons everything. This is not uncommon. This is part of their system.

@crispinfornoff206 It seems like you don’t even understand what agnosticism is. Are all your friends made of straw, too? At the very least, agnosticism doesn’t impair one’s moral compass and get them to argue that slavery is moral, for example. Let me guess, you don’t understand or accept the scientific theory of evolution. Many people don’t, in part, based on a need to preserve indoctrinated beliefs in magic.
