We need a “don’t say god” bill.

@angelpirulin9395 For certain, there are two clauses in the First Amendment that make up what is known as the separation of church and state. However, this isn’t the same as a “don’t say god bill”. Does it prohibit federal funds from being used to support any “god related” programs, events, and literature for children under 10; ban federal facilities from hosting or promoting such events or literature; and allow parents and guardians to sue government officials, agencies and private entities if a child under 10 is "exposed" to such materials? Do you see the difference? Or will you respond without much thought?

@drowningpooralice5505 Yes, there is the separation of church and state within the First Amendment. Those clauses don’t ban federal facilities from hosting or promoting such events or literature; and allow parents and guardians to sue government officials, agencies and private entities if a child under 10 is "exposed" to such materials.

@jimmythegem6582 Your question is problematic on several levels. As an atheist, I don’t hate beings that don’t exist. Having a “don’t say god” bill has nothing to do with accepting one’s own sexuality. Does pretending a god exist give you an excuse to hate homosexuals?
1
@jimmythegem6582 It is interesting that you use quotations for the word Imaginary, when you can’t demonstrate a god exists beyond your imagination.

@immabouttobebannedagain1320 Some do. But like anyone else that believes, they do so without warrant. And Israel really has nothing to do with whether or not a god exists.

@_Spider4 Perhaps you’re confused. How does this speak against equality?
1
@mobilusinmobili8321 Sure. Keep lying to yourself about that. It won’t make it any more true. Even so, LGBTQ isn’t pushing beliefs in a sky-daddy, or other supernatural claims.

@_Spider4 LGBTQ represents people who actually exist in reality. Religion doesn’t do that. If you’re arguing for equality, then perhaps you understand why a don’t say gay bill is problematic.

@mobilusinmobili8321 Making up whatever you want doesn’t make it true. Like Christianity. You’re not qualified to assess whether anything is a mental illness. In fact, you don’t even comprehend the difference between sex and gender. Come back after you earn your GED.
