God knows what he is doing? Is that why he placed Adam and Eve so close to the tree, leading to the downfall of humanity? Is that why he needed to send a flood to wipe clean and start over?

Instead of replacing the pastors with stronger pastors, why not replace the ideology with a more moral, more accurate one?

@JCisReal Actually, “God” is a concept that only exists in the minds of humans, and cannot be demonstrated to exist in reality. But according to doctrine… Your God is all power, creator of everything. He created suffering. He created evil. Do your beliefs include eternal torment in Hell?

@JCisReal NDE’s aren’t evidence for a god. There are natural explanations for brains responding when experiencing trauma. What is “spirit” other than your own imagination? How could it be demonstrated to be beyond your imagination and something within reality? It can’t. So it doesn’t live within people, it’s just a shared concept. An idea. And a bad one. Saved by faith? Faith is just an excuse people use when they don’t really have good reasons for their beliefs. After all, Muslims, Mormons, Hindus….all rely on faith. Just like you. None have evidence. And what belief can’t be justified by faith? God is holy and righteous, yet he created suffering and drowns babies. Your imaginary friend made slavery permissible by law, and you worship that?
