@antoniobarreto3960 The science shows prayer works at about the same rate as chance. So no, I don’t value pretending to do something useful when in fact it isn’t. It’s the same as leaving it to chance. The Bible isn’t an authority on reality, sir. Never has been.

@antoniobarreto3960 I never said chance is involved in prayer. I’m saying that praying is the same as leaving it to chance. Like, five dollars and a prayer will buy you a cup of coffee, but so will five dollars and no prayer. Same, same. What you fail to admit is that you only count when chance allows for what you pray for, and when it doesn’t….you don’t count it as failed prayer. How many people are prayed for, but never return home?

@antoniobarreto3960 There is no empirical evidence of the supernatural. If a doctor refers to a miracle, does he/she mean it literally, as in magic…or does he/she mean non-typical, as in a colloquial description? How would a doctor demonstrate a miracle occurred? If you’re going to pray, ask God what would convince me he exists, then tell me what he says. I’m not surmised you’re baffled. After all, you believe in magic when you can’t demonstrate it to be real. If you would…search google for Tim Minchin’s song, “thank you God”. It will help answer your miracle question. Let me know what you think.

@litta_babe3343 I’ve attended Seminary. I know what the Book says. The Book isn’t convincing. If a God exists, and wants me to know he exists, it’s on him to demonstrate he exists. But since he doesn’t exist, neither he nor you can demonstrate that he exists. See, all,Imdid was ask you to pray for me, and you won’t. You already know full well you God cannot provide an answer. You know it so well, you won’t even try.

@litta_babe3343 Any excuse to defend why your God can’t do anything. Nobody claimed it was your job. But if it isn’t, why are you even here? According to your own doctrine, you should be able to defend your religion.
