Oh yeah…God is so loving…he might just wipe out humanity….again. And he created Hell….because he loves when people suffer. Hell…eternal torment for temporal crimes, is neither just nor moral. Regardless, if you spend any time thinking about it….according to your own doctrine, your god created evil. Your god actively participates in evil. I can’t love a god that doesn’t exist. If he wanted me to know he exists, then he’s doing a poor job. But even if he existed, I would find it difficult to love a god that is determined to make people suffer. By your own description, he sounds like an abusive boyfriend. Better love him back or else. No back pain here.

  6. @bwrog1775 We have laws to set limitations. Our judicial system allows for correcting behavior. Hell cannot allow for corrective behavior. Our judicial system makes an attempt to measure the punishment to the crime. He cannot do this. Hell is eternal torment for temporal crimes, which is neither just nor moral.. I’m not rejecting God. I simply have no reason to conclude any God exists. However, if your God drowned babies, as it says in the Bible, yes…I would reject him. And you should too. Why would you worship a God that couldn’t think of a better way to manage a situation other than drowning babies? My moral,position is superior. God loves us so much that if we don’t love him back he will torture us for eternity. Right?

What you’re saying is that you worship a being that can’t think of a better way to manage his anger than to just drown babies. Ok. I don’t need a friend like that. Instead of just assuming a God exists, why not offer a demonstration? See, there are asserted properties and demonstrable properties. Your God only has asserted properties and no demonstrable properties. And that is evidence he exists only in the imagination and not reality.

Why would it matter if creating the child requires only,one person versus two? I’m not claiming to be a god. The argument is, if you create a person that has autonomy, and allegedly with free will, what would give anyone rights over that person’s life? And more to the point, an all powerful, all knowing, all loving god couldn’t think,of a better way to manage his anger and decided to drown pregnant women and babies, according to the doctrine. It seems he did this for his own pleasure, right?

  11. @bwrog1775 If God is good, why would he need anyone to,worship him? If God is outside of time, then he exists for no amount of time, right? If God is beyond your comprehension, how can you make any assertions about his existence? Yes, I just think you’re wrong. You, however, think I am wrong * and* deserving of eternal torment. An unjust and immoral punishment. Which makes my position morally superior. However, your dichotomy is false. What if the God you’re convinced exists doesn’t exist, but some other God does exist? Also…if there is no afterlife, people won’t be wrong for eternity. They’ll only be wrong as long as they exist. What you’re missing is that you’re going to be wrong during the only life we know we have. And during that time you’re going to believe other people are deserving of eternal torment. You’re willfully impairing your own moral compass.

  14. @bwrog1775 Nobody chooses to go to a place of eternal torment. Again, this just shows how corrupt your moral system is. If a God exists, and this God created Hell and the criteria by which people are sent to Hell, then your God is an immoral thug. But you’re still stuck with the problem that your God exists only in the Imagination, and not reality.
